SDFG has recently been launched. What is an S.D.F.G., you might ask. Well, might just be a brand new blog site concerned with compiling laughter from diverse sources around the web. You know it’s gonna feature hilarious videos from sites like YouTube, but it’ll also blog about full websites and pages located all over the interweb.

The blog’s creator has authored such a web page in the past which dates back to the year 2000. That page was created using a basic database and some PHP. It just showed URLs and a brief description attached to the link. Once every week, the latest URLs and their description text would be sent to all the subscribers on the list of email addresses.

The current website is a real-deal weblog that will showcase funny web pages, videos, comics, or anything that is funny at the time. It will also feature commentary on each piece of humor and encourage the readers to jump in on the discussion.

Associated with the recently found humor, the website will showcase classic entertainment from the creator’s previous archive of funny web URLs. In fact, the first blog post on the website is such a URL. It’s to Gene Ray’s Time Cube, and if you’ve never been there before, you should look it up. Gene Ray is obviously very cunning, but not because he created the Time Cube. He has created a page that has lasted the test of time long enough to be nominated as one of SDFG’s classic funny URLs. Can we just say that Gene is a very entertaining fellow that knows how to pull in an audience.
